If you’re near Kershaw, South Carolina and aren’t doing anything this weekend, consider coming out to Carolina Motorsports Park for LeMons South Fall 2010. Our team will be racing our Pontiac GTP again as well as tweeting updates from the track.
Spectator tickets are $20/day or $30 for a weekend all-access pit pass. Directions can be found at Carolina Motorsports Park’s website. The FinalGear LeMons team hopes to see you there!
That’s right boys and girls, we’re going 24 Hours of Lemons racing once again! Today and tomorrow, Quiky (who runs this site with me), PunisherBass, and a few others will be in Summit Point, West Virginia for Capitol Offense 2010. They’ll be racing a supercharged Pontiac Grand Prix:
PunisherBass and perhaps Quiky will be tweeting updates, which I’ve embedded here for easy viewing (it will automatically refresh):
The FinalGear.com LeMons race team is in need of drivers for the 24 Hours Of LeMons event dubbed Capitol Offense in June. If you’re interested in joining the team you can find details of the build here and details on driver applications here.
We’ll be participating in some 24 Hours of LeMons races once again this year and this time using a different car. If you’re interested, you can find out about it in this forum thread.
For any of you who are in the Ohio area, LeMons Ohio is this weekend and we’ll be having a car there. Our team is hoping to do even better than our previous outings and they’d love it if you’d drop by and say hi.
You can find details about the event on the LeMons website and details about our LeMons history our forums. The guys also have a Twitter account where they’ll be posting updates.

This year we’ll be entering a car in the Garrettsville, Ohio race at the Nelson Ledges Road Course. It will be a true 24 hour race rather than the more common two 12 hour races. We’re also turning into a FinalGear meet, so we hope to see you there! All the details about the day and a sneak peek at our car this year can be found on our forums.
For those that are interested, here’s some footage from the 24 Hours of LeMons race over the weekend in South Carolina. This footage, shot by Quiky, is of Team Salazar Racing’s E30 BMW 3-Series being crushed after being elected “The People’s Curse”.
Quiky and a few other forum members are currently in South Carolina for LeMons South in their Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor P71. Jalopnik, who has full coverage, managed to get a picture of our car and at least part of our team:
Many thanks to everyone who's ripped the episodes on this site as well as Quiky and PacketCollision for being awesome sysops.
