As expected, there has been some criticism of the review of the he Nissan Leaf and the Peugeot iOn in the latest Top Gear episode. Top Gear has responded via a post on their blog.

Personally I thought their review was surprisingly fair. That said, I don’t think anyone thinks that an electric car is a proper 1:1 replacement for a regular car when it comes to anything other than commuting to work or the store.
