A standard definition rip of today’s Top Gear has showed up and I’ve manually checked that the audio is indeed in sync. Enjoy. :)

UPDATE: The Scene is saying this one is out of sync too, but I watched the first little bit of the episode and didn’t notice anything wrong with it. *shrug*

Top Gear 16×06 720p Rip Audio Out Of Sync, Read To Fix

Edit Post ]

UPDATE: We’ve released a repacked rip as a fresh torrent with the audio in sync. You can either re-download the episode using the new torrent or follow the steps below to fix the previous rip.

D’oh, the audio on the 720p rip for today’s Top Gear is out of sync. :(

However, you can fix it by introducing a delay of about 166ms (that seems to work best). If you’re using Media Player Classic that comes with the Combined Community Codec Pack, then it’s easy to do:

We’ll re-release it when we manage to get our hands on a better 720p rip, but for now this will do. Sorry for the trouble.

Update for VLC: Sent in via e-mail (thanks Justin!):

With VLC you can advance or delay the audio by playing the video and selecting the video window and pressing Ctrl + K audio advancement and Ctrl + I audio delay. And on OSX, F for delay and G for advancement.

No sign of a low resolution rip yet from the usual sources, so we’ve skipped ahead to the 720p HD release instead. Top Gear is a lot better in high definition anyway though. :)
