The following e-mail just went out to a bunch of people: (emphasis mine)

Super-cars, extreme stunts and challenges, car reviews and celebrity guests, Top Gear is the show for anyone with a love of cars….and we have FREE tickets to see it LIVE!
After years of being the premiere television show about cars, BBC and The History Channel have joined forces to create a new U.S. version and they are taping the first season in Irvine, California FOR ONE WEEK ONLY. The U.S. version is chock-full of high-adrenaline action entertainment as it tracks the colorful history of the automobile as well as the eccentric adventures of its hosts with Top Gear’s customary wit and humor. Premiering this fall, the show is hosted by comedian Adam Ferrara, champion rally and drift racer Tanner Foust and racing analyst Rutledge Wood.
Top Gear tapes Wednesday, October 13th through Wednesday, October 20th and all tickets are free. The minimum age to attend the show is 18. For a complete schedule and to print free tickets please use the following link:

If you’re in the Irvine area, consider going and then sending us an anonymous report! Note that they’re giving out more tickets than can fit into the studio, so it’s first come first serve for actually showing up, not getting a ticket. A ticket won’t guarantee you entrance into the taping!
