If you’re going to be anywhere near The ‘Ring on August 14th and 15th, I’d like to invite you to come to our annual meetup there. We’ll have a bunch of people going and taking their cars out onto the track for some laps.

After being canceled back in October, Fifth Gear has earned a reprieve and will be returning for two new seasons this year. The first of which will begin at the end of April (once we know a definitive date, I’ll update the counter at the top of the site).

The Sunday Times is reporting that the show will be going back to basics and ditching the live studio format in exchange for more time reviewing cars. However sadly Tom Ford will not be returning as a host.

While few people prefer Fifth Gear to Top Gear, the two shows complement each other nicely and I think I can speak for a great many people when I say that I’m happy to have the show back.

We’ll be participating in some 24 Hours of LeMons races once again this year and this time using a different car. If you’re interested, you can find out about it in this forum thread.
