Top Gear Live Dublin Tickets Sell Out In 90 Minutes
_____

Edit Post ]

If the show in Dublin is any indication of what’s to come, tickets are going to be fairly hard to come by for the Top Gear Live World Tour. According to Independent.ie, the tickets for the Dublin show sold out in just 90 minutes.

If you’re planning to go to any other of the shows, I’d suggest being on the ball when it comes to buying tickets or you may just find yourself out of luck.

I skipped putting out a season pack last week to put the bandwidth towards seeding the existing packs, but now that they’re a little better seeded, here’s Top Gear season 9.

Since the Scene is being slow today with their rip, I’ve gone ahead and torrented up Moto’s rip as a temporary fix. For those who don’t care about Scene vs. non-Scene (which I assume is the majority of you), you can now watch the episode. Thanks again to Moto.

Sorry guys, the Scene is being slow again today, but I’ll post our torrent just as soon as they get a rip out.

Top Gear Live World Tour

First off, an apology for this post being so far behind the times. Top Gear has been doing a live show for a number of years now, so when I heard news about the gang’s stunt in London (more on that in a moment), I figured it was just a promotion for another year of MPH. I was wrong though, so here’s a post filling you in on the details incase you missed them.

Back on September 1st, the Top Gear trio crossed London’s Tower Bridge in a tank followed by an Aston Martin and a Ferrari F430 carrying their luggage.

The event was a promotion for their Top Gear Live world tour. They’ll be taking their show that normally occurs at MPH in the UK around the world to various cities. Here’s the ones outside of the UK that have been announced so far (here’s hoping for some in North America):

  • Dublin, Ireland — November 27th to 30th, 2008 (tickets on sale now)
  • Johannesburg, South Africa — January 29th to February 1st, 2009
  • Sydney, Australia — February 6th to 9th, 2009
  • Auckland, New Zealand — February 12th to 15th, 2009
  • Hong Kong — February 19th to 22nd, 2009

Tickets aren’t on sale yet for any of the shows outside of the UK (except Ireland), but they will be “soon”. More details can be found at Top Gear Live’s website.

Our Australian forum members are having another Melbourne-area meet. If you’re in the area, they’d love to have you come. The previous ones have looked to be quite fun and I’m sure this one will be too.

No delay from the RiVER group this week thankfully — Fifth Gear is available now.

And the counter at the top of the site was incorrect for Fifth Gear (bad math on my part), but it’s now fixed.
