You can now get the 700MB Scene rips of Top Gear season 8 as one torrent.

If you’re in Finland (or near by), a bunch of our forum members will be going to a track day at Ahvenisto Race Circuit on September 16th. If you’re interested, check out our forums for further details.

According to CarAdvice.com.au, Top Gear Australia starts on Monday, September 29th. No countdown quite yet though as I’m not sure what time it airs.

Update: SBS’s website has been updated confirming this as well as saying it will air at 7:30 PM local time. Now that we know the time and date, I’ve added a countdown to the top of the site.

A rip by a Scene group came outta nowhere today, so I’ve torrented it up and it’s available now.

Still no release by the Scene yet, but we’re hopeful they’ll catch the re-airing on Sunday and release it then. If not, we’ll use one of the various other rips available made by random fans (they vary greatly in size and quality, so I’m holding off for now).

If you can’t wait, you have two choices:

1. Snag one of those random rips off Mininova (note that the 11×03 one that comes up in that search is over a year old)
2. Stream the episode’s segments on Fifth Gear’s website

Just a status update: no rip has been put by the Scene yet which means no release for us. I’ll keep you updated though.

Yep, we’re up to season 7 now. This was the season with the gang heading to southern France and the cheap Italian supercar challenge.

EDIT: Did I seriously just use “queue” instead of “line”? I really do watch too much Top Gear…

Besides having segments from the show, Fifth Gear’s website also features a few behind the scenes clips including outtakes.

Their latest clip is an outtake (I assume, I don’t know if it’ll make the airing) from this coming Monday’s episode. In the clip, Tom tests out the new Honda Accord’s bluetooth capabilities by prank calling Jonny. If you’re bored at work (or even if you’re not), it’s worth a watch.
