Torrent Feed Is Now Locally Hosted

I’ve known for a while that FeedBurner seems to block the RSS plugin in Azureus and possibly others, so I’ve finally decided to just locally host the feed rather than having FeedBurner mirror it.
However, this means an extra query each time someone scrapes the feed and the last I looked, the feed had 1300 subscribers and since each subscriber refreshes the feed many times a day, it adds up. So, please don’t hammer the feed! 15 minute scrape intervals is plenty, an hour even would probably do. I mean only 2 torrents a week get released, so you don’t need to check the feed every 60 seconds. ;)

Oh, and for those who didn’t know, add this URL to your BitTorrent client if it supports RSS feeds (uTorrent and Azureus via a plugin do) and it’ll automatically download the latest shows:
