A Ton Of Old Top Gear Episodes

pumesta, a member of the FinalGear.com forums, was kind enough to rip a bunch of classic Top Gear episodes from 1989 and 1990 that he had on VHS for us and then torrent them up. I’ve now added them to the site and you can get them at these URLs or on the general Top Gear download page:

Oh, and as you may notice, I’ve inversed the ordering of the episodes on the download pages making the newest episodes appear on top. It may be weird for you to get used to at first, but at least this way, you won’t have to scroll all the way down each time a new episode airs and is released. ;)

Bah, Vuk Missed The Episode

We really need to get Vuk an egg timer or something…
Anyway, yes, that’s right, Vuk missed the original airing of Fifth Gear. Bah. Luckily, it reairs in about 24 hours at 11 PM UK time (GMT+1), so he’ll catch it then (or we’ll beat him all with large rocks) and then we’ll release it tomorrow (Tuesday).

No Release Tonight Probably

It’s unlikely there will be a release tonight. It’s quite late in the UK and so we assume that Vuk just started uploading the episode to our private FTP and then headed to bed. Sadly though, the upload has been stalled at 24MB for over an hour.
That means we’ll most likely have to wait until tomorrow UK time for Vuk to wake up and complete the upload. :(

Alright, I’ve fully setup the mailing list. It seems to be working fine with the 1/2 dozen or so testers that are currently subscribed, so let’s see how well it does once more people sign up.
If you don’t know how or don’t want to subscribe to one of the various news feeds, you can instead use this mailing list. The subscribe box is at the bottom of the sidebar on the right side of this page.
