Ok guys, and girls, just another heads up about the scheduled downtime for the site for early Monday morning. See this thread for details on the downtime.
Don’t forget that you won’t be able to access the Java chat here while the site is down. So, if you have an IRC client, connect to #gear on irc.p44.org while the site is down, or by using this Java chat backup.

Top Gear Airing In The USA

For those who haven’t heard/noticed, Top Gear is airing on the Discovery Channel. However, I hear it’s been tweaked for us, the American audience, by re-filming some studio segments, and I also believe the guests are cut out (we wouldn’t know who they are and they gotta make room for commericals). It’s also in 4:3 format and so no widescreen. :(
