There’s less than a week to go until the new Top Gear season starts!!!

Vuk grabbed the re-air of the lastest Fifth Gear and the torrent for it is now out. As you may recall, the rip that was released last Monday was missing the first minute or so. If you like to hang onto the episodes after watching them, you may want to grab this new torrent so that you have the entire episode for archival purposes.

For those that delete episodes after watching them, don’t bother downloading this new rip as you didn’t miss much in the original release. ;)

Not that you really care, but I upgraded WordPress (which powers this news) to the latest version. I also learned about better looking URLs to the feeds, so I’ve changed the feed links at the bottom of the page to the new URLs. You can keep using the old URLs though if you wish as they’ll continue to work. :)

Sorry, but I screwed up some code on the contact form and it wasn’t working for the past couple days. If you tried to send me an e-mail and got redirected to http://www.finalgear.com/contact.php instead of getting the message “E-mail was successfully sent!”, please send your e-mail again via the form because I never got it.

Okay, so here’s today’s Fifth Gear. The first minute or two is missing, but it’s still good. :) See this news post for details on the missing minutes / when you can get the full episode / etc.

Vuk is currently encoding today’s airing. It will be missing the “what’s in this episode” and possibly the intro theme thing since it started airing 2 minutes early and therefore Vuk’s recording software missed it (see this news post). For those that just wanna see the episode and then delete it, this torrent will be for you. ETA is a couple hours.

On Friday, Fifth Gear will re-air and I will then kill today’s torrent and replace it with the new torrent. This will be the one that will stay here on the site from then on.

Oh joy. *sigh* Fifth Gear started 2 minutes early today and so Vuk’s recording software missed the intro theme and the “what’s in this episode”.

So, do we splice on a intro from another episode, screw the “what’s in this episode”, and release it or do we wait until Friday and re-record it then? Vote here [edit] Link removed [/edit] (gotta be registered with the forums).
