Vuk sucessfully captured the re-airing of Fifth Gear and is currently uploading it to a private FTP on his slow ass connection. Expect a release around 5 or 6 PM my time (scroll down to the bottom of the page for my current time).

So there you have it. Life sucks, but luckily Fifth Gear reairs on Wednesdays and so he’ll re-record it then.

Well, the server load is through the roof on this box. I’m not sure if it’s due to having the site back up or if it’s something else on the box, but I’ve disabled the forums for the time being in an effort to reduce the server load.

PLEASE DON’T KEEP REFRESHING! The new Fifth Gear won’t be out for at least a couple hours and by hammering the site, you’re just increasing the server load. ;) The same goes for the forums - they are going to be down until tomorrow most likely.

Sorry for the issues, but pulse will get paid within the next 3 weeks and then we’ll be getting a new box which should solve all these issues. :D

Welcome to the new, nearly-fully done version of the site! Many, many hours have been spent recoding and redesigning the site from the ground up. The entire back end is completely new and while it may not affect you, the server load that the site makes is significantly less.

However, a few things are still left to be done and they will finished soon hopefully. Here they are in the order that they will be completed:

• Torrent/retorrent all episodes that aren’t currently available for download on the downloads page
• New PHP-based mailing list with sign-up form located on main page
• Being able to sort the download page by clicking the column headers
• When searching, the search phrase is highlighted in the hover box. Apply the same highlight formatting to the episode details page.
• Implement more advanced searching. Currently, you can only search for a phrase in the episodes, not individual words (like if you search for “tiff vicki”, it’ll look for an episode containing that phrase and not those 2 words individually). I’ll be changing that to defualt words or a phrase if it’s in quotation marks. The news searching is also having issues with searching for a phrase using quotation marks, so I’ll have to look into that as well. I may have to set up a toggle box for words or phrase for the news.

• Write a short history of the site for the about page
