sorry guys, i think i am going to miss you again this year, my boss wont let me have a day off, i have to finish the project. he recons its costing too much money to our company.

hence the addition of "sensible" :) - either way I can always park and ride for a few loops between some freeway exits.

Fuck I hate Vic laws sometimes - In QLD (and other states too I believe) they have to put up roadsigns when theres a camera operating ahead...

But yeah, I nearly lost my License over Xmas so I'll be cruuuzing along.

Might also see if a mate wants to tag along in his VT-SS.

Erm, no it's not. Entrapment would involve the police inducing you to speed and drive recklessly in a situation that you otherwise wouldn't.

But that doesn't make this any less dodgy a thing for them to do.
 
But it would be interesting case in court since the laser operator is out of uniform - a requirement for officers operating in Victoria.

The route will be good since almost all is at 100 (unlike the GOR) and is quiet enjoyable - an indication of this was passing about 16 dangerous motorcycle condition signs along the way.

Yeah, that's on the roads we wento on last time, Black Spur and Reefton Spur. Came close to getting done up there a few weeks ago :coplight:

The sting is primarily targeted at bikes though.

(delurk mode) Would love to go but having just spent the long weekend fanging around the mountains I'd be sleeping in the MR2 if I went on another run this weekend.

The BEST thing was the roads were so quiet and cop free. Had a fantastic run from Mansfield to Whitfield and from Bright-Hotham-Omeo (all 100 roads so you don't have to break the limit to get a good drive). Drove the 2 on snow for the first time yesterday!

With fuel at 150 for 98 ron, this is going to be one expensive trip for the turbo cars :lol: ... esp with mine doing 350km a tank on average by driving sensibly in the city traffic.
 
I'd love it if we saw snow at the top of Donna Buang again :p

Mate, my wallet is bracing :unsure:

No news on lunch yet, I don't think I'll bother too much with a booking, we're not as big a group this time but I'll make a few calls and confirm that there'll be a pub doing lunch in warragul. I had a look at a directory and theres a couple we can try.
